Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom but also for the precedent of accountability for all those who attempt to attack a sovereign country, — Kira Rudik at the Renew PAC conference

African leaders should understand that Ukraine is fighting for stability in the world and for the impossibility of dictatorial regimes to attack their neighbors with impunity. This was reported by Ukrainian MP, leader of the «Golos» party, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik at the Renew PAC conference in Dakar.  «I met with the President of Senegal Macky Sall. He was in Kyiv as part of a delegation of leaders of African countries. Afterwards, they moved to moscow and there they realized that putin would not give up on his plans. However, our African colleagues understand that we are fighting for stability in the world and the impossibility of one dictatorship to attack its neighbors. This is a painful issue for Africa», — the leader of «Golos» emphasized.   Also, according to Kira Rudik, Ukraine should strengthen diplomatic work in the African region and more actively oppose russian influence here. «We emphasize that Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom but also for all dictatorships to understand: if a full-scale invasion of the neighbors is launched, there will be not only defeat but also a punishment for the crimes committed. However, Africa is one of the most difficult diplomatic areas for Ukraine, because russian propaganda is very strong there. So the work in this region needs to be strengthened», — the MP states.
