The West must arm itself and Ukraine to protect itself from the «axis of evil», — Kira Rudik

The democratic world should not hope for a truce with russia, but seriously arm itself and Ukraine. This is the only way to protect ourselves from the «axis of evil» that has already formed around russia. Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik thinks so. «We should have no illusions that if there is a truce (for 3 days or 30), then russia and its allies will stop producing drones and other weapons, that their military cooperation will be suspended. This will not happen. And the only response of the Western world should be to arm itself and put economic pressure on these countries of the so-called «axis of evil» so that they do not have the opportunity to continue their arms race», — the MP emphasizes. The recent visits of the Chinese leader to the russian federation only demonstrate that the alliance between moscow and Beijing is unshakable.  «I hope that those who still had some dreams that it is possible to detach the russian federation from China will accept the reality that it is impossible to do this. And in order to oppose totalitarian regimes, we should move forward and arm ourselves and the country that is now resisting this union — Ukraine», — the politician emphasizes.
