Kira Rudik met with the Minister of Defense of Luxembourg

Ukrainians hope for increased support from partners to defeat the aggressor. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik at a meeting with the Minister of Defense of Luxembourg Yuriko Backes. «Luxembourg is a small, albeit prosperous, country that has set an example for many. 16% of Luxembourg's defense budget goes to support our state and this is something others should follow. Yuriko Backes participated in the Rammstein format and understands the importance of supporting Ukraine», — the «Golos» leader emphasized. According to Kira Rudik, it is crucial to convey to partners that now support for Ukraine is an investment in the security of the entire democratic world. «Ms. Yuriko Backes admires Ukrainian resilience and courage, but those alone cannot defeat the aggressor. She knows very well what challenges are currently facing not only Ukraine, but also Europe, NATO, and the entire democratic world. Therefore, we hope for increased support from partners who can act like Luxembourg», — the MP summed up.
