One can only understand what Ukrainians are going through and how russia distorts reality by being here. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik at a meeting with the head of the Ukrainian Circle London National Liberal Club, Mark Twitchett. «Our old friend Mark Twitchett is experiencing these stormy nights in Kyiv. We met him in the center of the city, which was recovering from a night raid by russian drones. After all, to understand all the horrors of aggression, you need to see it with your own eyes. After that, no russian propaganda will be able to rewrite history, gloss over the truth, and impose its narratives», — said the MP. Such visits are also important for representatives of partner countries in order to understand the war that russia is waging, both at the frontlines and against civilians.  «Ukraine needs those who will stand by us, who will help, and who will understand us.
