Kira Rudik Meets with France's New Ambassador to Ukraine, Brice Roquefeuil

Ukrainian MP and leader of the Holos party Kira Rudik met with the newly appointed Ambassador of France to Ukraine, Brice Roquefeuil, in Kyiv. The meeting focused on key priorities of Ukrainian-French cooperation, including strengthening military assistance to Ukraine, advancing the confiscation of frozen russian assets, and expanding interparliamentary cooperation. Particular attention was given to Ukraine's urgent need for additional weapons and air defense systems, as well as legal mechanisms to use frozen russian assets to finance Ukraine's defense and reconstruction. Another important topic was engagement with political parties across France's National Assembly. Kira Rudik emphasized the importance of maintaining a consistent dialogue with French parliamentarians from across the political spectrum to ensure continued support for Ukraine. "France is one of Ukraine's key partners. We must not only maintain but strengthen military assistance, advance decisions on frozen russian assets, and engage with all political forces shaping France's future policies. Support for Ukraine must remain a strategic priority regardless of political changes," Kira Rudik stated. Kira Rudik welcomed Ambassador Roquefeuil to Kyiv and expressed her commitment to further strengthening Ukrainian-French cooperation.
