Europe and Ukraine should rely on themselves in the production of weapons, and not wait for decisions from the United States, — Kira Rudik

Building up arms production in Europe and Ukraine is a real tool for deterring russian aggression, both current and potential. Because no threats or persuasions work with putin. Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik emphasizes this.   «The formula for success is to rely on yourself, regardless of what the US will do. After all, it was not negotiations and threats that stopped putin, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That is why, regardless of what is said in the White House, Ukraine should concentrate on its own military industry and working with our partners to do the same», — the MP stresses. Both European partners and Ukraine should now focus their maximum efforts on the production of weapons. «We do not know whether we should expect help from Washington, so our efforts should be focused on speeding up the processes in EU countries to support Ukraine and build up arms there. This is the only thing that has already worked with putin and is guaranteed to work in the future», — the leader of «Golos» underlines.
