There are legal solutions for the confiscation of russian assets, and comprehensive political will is needed, — Kira Rudik

Now the main task in the confiscation of russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine is to consolidate efforts to support this process. After all, there are examples of successful legal solutions demonstrated by certain countries. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, leader of the «Golos» party, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik during the discussion held on the sidelines of the conference on the European integration of Ukraine in the European Parliament.  «The main task is to consolidate efforts for comprehensive support and involvement of countries in the process of confiscation of russian assets before the election races begin in partner countries», — the MP stressed. According to Kira Rudik, there are already legal decisions regarding the confiscation of russian assets. «It is worth noting that there are already legal solutions in the world. They were developed by Canada, Belgium, and the United States. But when it comes to a single political will, the situation becomes more complicated», — the leader of «Golos» noted.
