The confiscation of the frozen russian assets has its arguments both for the new administration of the White House and for Europe, especially in the context of strengthening defense. Ukrainian MP and «Golos» party leader Kira Rudik insists on this. «Activation of confiscated assets is now possible in two tracks. The first is in negotiations with the new American administration. Here, the use of frozen russian assets can be both a way to return their invested funds, as the current administration believes, and a part of compensation to Ukraine for the damages caused», — said the MP. For Europe, these frozen russian funds are also an important resource for strengthening security.  «Next is the European track. The EU has a plan for 800 billion euros for the defense of Europe, and it can be strengthened precisely by confiscated russian assets», — the leader of «Golos» emphasized.
