The war in Ukraine affects everyone in Europe, so it is unlikely that the hostilities will be put on the back burner, — Kira Rudik at the Alliance of Her conference

The threats from populist forces in Europe are obvious, so everyone is interested in seeing liberal politicians come to power. This was emphasized by Ukrainian MP, leader of the «Golos» party, Vice President of ALDE Kira Rudik at the women's conference Alliance of Her, which took place in Amsterdam.  «Now we are all interested in liberal democratic politicians coming to power, because the threats from populist forces are obvious», — the leader of «Golos» stated.  According to Kira Rudik, despite the fact that it is more difficult to keep the allies in focus on the events in Ukraine, the war has not gone anywhere and everyone should understand this. «As much as certain political forces in Europe would like to see it differently, the war in Ukraine affects everyone on the continent. Therefore, it is unlikely that it will be possible to relegate hostilities to the background. And we work together to strengthen this understanding», — the MP stressed.
