The European voters advocate for increasing aid to Ukraine and ALDE research proves this, — Kira Rudik

The European voter believes that Ukraine should be helped even more to defeat russian aggression. This is evidenced by the survey conducted by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. Ukrainian MP, «Golos» party leader, ALDE Vice President Kira Rudik reported this. «The European voter is not tired of Ukraine, moreover, they believe that their country should provide more help for Ukraine to win. This is demonstrated by a survey of electoral sentiments conducted by the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe in February. They surveyed 45,000 respondents in 22 European countries. In most states, more than 40% of voters believe that their governments and politicians should do more so that Ukraine gets everything it needs to win», — the politician stressed.  According to Kira Rudik, the same survey shows that European voters are not «tired» of Ukraine.  «In fact, we are seeing the same sentiments of people in Europe that were at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. After all, it was then that ordinary citizens demanded decisive decisions from their politicians. Now the situation is very similar: everyone understands that without the support of Europe, Ukraine will not be able to win the war, and therefore maximum efforts should be focused on this», — the «Golos» leader underlined. Such electoral sentiments should be reflected both in the future composition of the European Parliament and in the actions of politicians. «We hope that these voter sentiments will motivate politicians to act decisively. And also — that this will be reflected in the new composition of the European Parliament. Then we will be able to receive not only military aid but also count on new political steps. In particular, to have in the European Commission a person who will be responsible for security and a person who will be responsible for sanctions, the decisions of which will be systemic», — the MP accentuated.
