Women are the main driver of socio-economic life, — Kira Rudik at the Breadwinner Now event in Odesa

The challenges and solutions to the problems of women's businesses during the war, state initiatives to support women's entrepreneurship, and training necessary for their own business were discussed in Odesa at an event within the framework of the Breadwinner Now project, which is overseen by an MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE Kira Rudik. This is an initiative designed to support women who, during a full-scale war, remained the sole breadwinners of their families.

«According to Opendatabot, almost 22,000 new companies were registered in Ukraine since February 24, and a third of them are managed by women. And no matter how difficult it is, they hold on and conduct activities. Personally, I associate Ukrainian women with the words «we can» during a full-scale war. We can support a man at the front, we can find a copter in his unit, we can read poems with our children in a shelter, and we can keep our business afloat and provide for our families. We can start from scratch in a new place, but they need support», — emphasized the MP.

As part of the Breadwinner Now event, organized with the support of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation and the head of the Golos party branch in Odesa, Natalya Delieva, training sessions on leadership skills were held for women, who are actually the main driver of socio-economic development.

The goal is to provide women entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge and resources for the successful recovery and development of their businesses. In addition, the goal is to provide women entrepreneurs with the necessary knowledge and resources to strengthen their business models and increase productivity and competitiveness.

Events within the Breadwinner Now project are also designed to unite women entrepreneurs so that they can exchange experience and resources, create new partnerships and collaborate in the development of their businesses. In addition, it will help build strong communities that can work together to improve the economic situation in the region.
