We must jointly respond to the cynical crimes of russians against Ukraine, — Kira Rudik at the Women Political Leaders Summit 2023

russia continues to cynically accuse Ukraine of its own war crimes, including the blowing up of the Kakhovka HPP, which caused a large-scale man-made disaster. This is a crime against the environment that knows no borders. An MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, and vice-president of ALDE Kira Rudik emphasized this while speaking in the European Parliament at the Women Political Leaders Summit 2023.

«The consequences of blowing up Kakhovka HPP will have no borders. And now we have to focus on ensuring that the aggressor does not dare to commit new man-made disasters», — stressed the leader of Golos.

Besides, Kira Rudik emphasized the need to convey true information about what is happening in Ukraine to the Western audience and thus counteract russian narratives.

«The cynical russians’ accusations of Ukraine for blowing up the Kakhovka HPP proves how important it is to convey to the international audience the whole truth about the crimes of the russian federation in Ukraine and to inform about the current situation. It is very unfortunate that after 14 months of war, the world still doubts where the truth is and where lies are, even when russians commit brutal crimes, from which not only Ukraine suffers», — said the MP.
