Ukraine is doing everything in its power to achieve victory, but Ukrainians need help. Besides, the whole world needs a guarantee that such wars will never happen again, and this can be achieved by Ukraine's membership in NATO. An MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, ALDE vice-president Kira Rudik emphasized this in her blog for The Telegraph.

«During the 16 months of the full-scale war, we have gone through many trials and have already learned many lessons from them. Those lessons are about unity, values, unpunished evil, and peace. What seemed impossible became possible — from arms deliveries to decisions about long-term support and strategic prospects of our country», — emphasized the leader of Golos.

However, to make sure that these efforts are not in vain, not only for Ukraine but also for the world, the aggressor must be punished and be afraid to repeat his crimes. And this means that Ukraine should join NATO.

«New challenges await us, but we already know that great ambitions multiplied by strong motivation open many doors. We do not know when we will win, but we are doing everything in our power so that a day of peace comes as soon as possible in European Ukraine and in the NATO family», — summed up the MP.
