We are grateful to our partners from Cambridge for new opportunities for medical students from Kharkiv, — Kira Rudik
20 students of the Kharkiv National Medical University are beginning their internship in hospitals of Cambridge. Ukrainians will continue practical classes and will study at the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, as well as at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Royal Papworth Hospital, and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation.
This seven-week program should improve the knowledge that students have already acquired and help them to advance in the future to better study at Kharkiv National Medical University.
«Such internships for future Ukrainian doctors support the health care sector of our country. This program was launched in an incredibly short time and we are very grateful to our partners from Cambridge. These 20 students experienced firsthand what Russian aggression is like, some of them treated people in the Kharkiv metro during the bombings. The knowledge they will receive here will save many lives of Ukrainians in the future», — emphasized the initiator of the Graduate and Return program, leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE Kira Rudik.
Graduate and Return is a project of Kira Rudik, the goal of which is to provide free international education to Ukrainian students. In the draft, there are agreements with 100 of the best international universities where Ukrainians will get a chance to get quality education free of charge and use new knowledge to rebuild Ukraine after their return
