Ukraine is setting the trend and forming the foundations of the world's new global security system, — Kira Rudik

The full-scale russian invasion demonstrated the need of rebuilding the world security system and the unity of democratic forces in opposing tyranny. An MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE Kira Rudik emphasized this during a speech at the online event for Radikale Venstre.

«A year of full-scale russian invasion has demonstrated that the current world security system is not effective enough. It could not prevent the blackmail of tyranny, the invasion of a sovereign state and the attempt to shake democratic values. It’s time to improve it», — emphasized the leader of Golos.

According to Kira Rudik, democracy must necessarily defeat tyranny so that aggressions similar to the one carried out by the russian federation against Ukraine are not repeated.

«Now Ukraine is setting a trend and forming the foundations of a new world security system where dictatorships have no place, where democracy has teeth and unity repels the aggressor», — stressed the MP.

Radikale Venstre is a Danish sister party of ALDE, founded in 1905. It is a socially liberal political force with attention to culture and reducing inequality in society.
