Ukraine and Taiwan have common values. Our friendship is strengthening, — Kira Rudik at the General Assembly of The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats
Ukrainian MP, leader of the «Golos» party, ALDE Vice-President Kira Rudik made an online speech at the 30th anniversary of the General Assembly of The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) in Taiwan. She expressed a huge gratitude for Taiwan’s help for Ukrainian people.
«Taiwan is not just studying russia’s war against Ukraine, but also helping us endure as much as they can. And this help is really saving lives. This country’s government allocated a million dollars only for generators and supporting Kyiv. Besides, we are expecting fifty emergency vehicles for our city», — the MP emphasized.
According to Kira Rudik, Ukraine and Taiwan have a lot in common. And it’s not just the threat from totalitarian regimes that prevail in terms of resources.
«We have common values, a common goal, and a common aspiration to determine our own future. I am convinced that the friendship between Ukraine and Taiwan is growing stronger every day», — the leader of Golos stressed.
The Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) is a regional organization of Asian liberal democratic parties. It was created on October 15, 1993, in Taiwan.
