The keynote is helping Ukrainians and supporting Ukraine — Kira Rudik about the conference of the Irish Fianna Fáil party

Ireland mobilized its maximum efforts to help Ukraine from the first day of the full-scale invasion. This support continues to this day at all levels: from ordinary Irish people to the top politicians of this country. This is how the leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE, MP Kira Rudik comments on the second day of the conference of the Irish Fianna Fáil party.

«Ireland was one of the first countries to react to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and it announced aid to our country on the first day of the full-scale russian invasion. Currently, this support package has increased to 20 million euros. The Irish mobilized at all levels to accept and provide everything necessary for Ukrainian refugees. These are housing, work, and financial support», — stressed the leader of Golos.

The head of Fianna Fáil, the Prime Minister of Ireland, Micheál Martin, devoted a large part of his closing speech to Ukraine. These were very warm words and assurances of support till complete victory. Kira Rudik expressed her special thanks to the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland and ALDE Vice President Timmy Dooley for the invitation to participate in the conference.

«The keynote of the conference is helping Ukrainians and supporting Ukraine. The way Irish people support Ukrainian immigrants is the result of the active position and work of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland, Larisa Herashko. War really shows who a true friend is. Ireland is exactly such a friend for Ukraine», — emphasized the MP.
