The British Parliament has the political will to confiscate russian assets, and work is currently underway to implement it, — Kira Rudik

Progress in the issue of confiscation of russian assets and the next steps that must be taken so that the United Kingdom also adopts the relevant legislation were discussed by an MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE Kira Rudik with a member of the British Parliament Jonathan Djanogly.

«In the British Parliament, everyone is united in the fact that putin should pay for the war against Ukraine. Now they are considering a draft law on the mechanisms of confiscation of russian assets. So now it's about further steps and using the experience of the USA and Canada on this track», — said the MP.

Despite different opinions in the British Parliament, the issue of Ukraine unites all parties and groups so that support is as effective as possible.

«There is already a letter from 60 British parliamentarians with an appeal to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and a call to speed up the development of mechanisms for the confiscation of russian assets. There is a political will to implement it, and work is ongoing to fulfill this idea», — emphasized the leader of Golos.
