Despite the full-scale russian invasion, Ukraine remains a country that upholds liberal values. An MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, ALDE vice-president Kira Rudik emphasized this during her speech at the Brussels Congress on the Future of Liberalism.

«Despite the war, Ukraine remains a country where human life and freedom are of the highest value. Where political pluralism and freedom of religion are preserved. We stand for equal opportunities for all and the equality of all before the law. We will not turn into a small russian federation, because we believe that we can fight for a safe tomorrow only today», — emphasized the leader of Golos.

Brussels Congress on the Future of Liberalism is an event organized by the Liberal Party in Belgium, Open Vld. The event athered more than 500 participants. They discussed the future of liberalism in Europe and the challenges it faces. On the outskirts of the event, Kira Rudik met with the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo. The leader of Golos thanked him for the support of Ukraine and readiness to help in the final victory over the aggressor.
