Kyiv will be with heat despite everything: the capital received two more generators from Taiwan, — Kira Rudik

Infrastructure objects of Kyiv received two more powerful generators as a part of assistance from the government of Taiwan. Their capacity is 750 kVa each and they will provide uninterrupted power supply for heat supply enterprises. This was said by the MP of Ukraine, leader of the «Golos» party, ALDE Vice-president Kira Rudik.

«Taiwan continues supporting us with actions and the result of this support is felt by everyone. Two more 750 kVA generators were handed over to «Kyivteploenergo» so that the people in Kyiv would have heat, no matter how much the enemy wanted to freeze the city with strikes on critical infrastructure. These generators are part of a $1 million package provided by our friends from the government of Taiwan», — the member of parliament said.

At the beginning of December 2022, the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) allocated funds for generators for the Ukrainian capital. The procedure is that Taiwan allocates $1 million to the «Darnychany» charity fund, the fund buys generators and transfers the balance to the capital. The first two have already arrived in Kyiv at the beginning of January 2023.
