If Ukraine does not win, the tyrants will consider any aggression towards their neighbors unpunished, — Kira Rudik

Ukraine's victory over the russian federation is a key to deterring other authoritarian regimes from attacking their neighbors. First of all, we are talking about Taiwan. This was emphasized by an MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, ALDE vice-president Kira Rudik during a meeting with Lee Roy Chun, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, Wang Ting-yu, parliamentarian of Taiwan and member of the Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee, and Pavel Popescu, chairman of Committee on Defense, Public Order and National Security of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania.

«The victory of democratic Ukraine over the totalitarian russian federation is important for the civilized world. In particular, Taiwan, which also faced the threat of China's authoritarian expansion. That is why the democratic world should help Ukraine defeat the aggressor as soon as possible», — emphasized the leader of Golos.

They also talked about the role of international organizations in opposing the new authoritarian coalition: the russian federation, China, Iran, and the DPRK. How to resist this, if moscow and Beijing block UN resolutions. What else can the European Union do in global diplomacy and economics, and what is the collective role of the West in preventing new tensions in the Indo-Pacific region.

«This is an important conversation and an important meeting because the fate of democratic values for the world is decided in the battles in Ukraine. We are aware that China will perceive russia's victory as a green light for its military actions in the Strait against Taiwan. Therefore, the victory of Ukraine is necessary for the civilized world, otherwise, tyrants will consider any aggression against their neighbors unpunished», — stressed the MP.
