Every success on the battlefield is a joint victory with our partners — Kira Rudik at the Irish Fianna Fáil Congress
The war showed how important the support of friends and the unity of allies are in confronting the aggressor. Therefore, Ukraine is incredibly grateful to Ireland for the support that this country provides in the fight against the russian invasion. This was emphasized by the leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE, MP Kira Rudik, speaking at the 80th Congress of the Irish Fianna Fáil party, which was held with the support of the Prime Minister of this country, Micheál Martin.
«Full-scale war has taught us important things. Courage and understanding who your friend is and what real friends do. Today, it is very important for us Ukrainians to know that we are not alone in our struggle for freedom, that we have allies, there is a shoulder we can count on. I am happy that Ireland is our friend», — underlined the leader of Golos.
Kira Rudik thanked Ireland for its support and assistance to Ukrainian refugees, especially children.
«Ukrainian children will remember and thank the Irish for this support. My family is not rich, so when I entered politics, I decided to devote my activities to ensuring that new generations of Ukrainians would not know what we went through: poverty, uncertainty of the future, and revolutions. I dreamed that they would build a new, modern Ukraine. But the war stole it from us. Now Ukrainian children learn to hide from sirens, lose their parents, friends, and loved ones, and witness the atrocities of the occupiers», — accentuated the MP.
Ukraine will fight until complete victory and liberation of its territory, and this victory will be shared with our partners.
«Ukraine is fighting and reclaiming its lands until complete victory. Every success we have on the battlefield is shared. After all, it would be very difficult for us without the help and support of our partners. We will go to the end because we need victory, not peace», — concluded the vice-president of ALDE.
