Despite the challenges of the war, Ukrainian women have learned to support each other and work together for Victory, — Kira Rudik
Ukrainian women fully feel the burden of a full-scale invasion and bear it on an equal footing with men. But at the same time, they work for victory and support each other. An MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, ALDE vice-president Kira Rudik noted this during a speech at the Poland Parliament Woman Facing the War.
«The thesis about the unwomanly face of war is not about a full-scale russian invasion. Ukrainian women fight in the Defense Forces, Ukrainian women volunteer, Ukrainian women bear the financial and emotional burden of this war. They hold the rear, they earn money to support their families and to donate», — emphasized the MP.
At the same time, women most often become victims of russian war crimes in Ukraine.
«Unfortunately, women also become victims of russian war crimes during the temporary occupation, since violence is a method of waging this war for the russian federation. But it didn't break us. Despite all the challenges of the great war, we learned to support each other and work together for Victory», — stressed the leader of Golos.
