A fair punishment of the russian federation will protect the world from the growth of totalitarianism in the future, — Kira Rudik

The world will not feel safe if the aggressor, who has started a war against another sovereign state and is committing genocide, is not justly punished. This opinion was expressed by an MP of Ukraine, leader of the Golos party, vice-president of ALDE Kira Rudik, based on the results of a lecture by Oleksandra Matviichuk, head of the Center for Civil Liberties, organized by the Kyiv Security Forum.

«I really want the world to hear what Oleksandra Matviichuk, head of the Center for Civil Liberties, said at a lecture on the sidelines of the Kyiv Security Forum. «putin is not afraid of NATO, putin is afraid of the idea of freedom that is approaching the russian federation». This deeply characterizes the whole essence of this war. The war that the kremlin has been waging against Ukraine and its aspirations to go its own way since 2014.

I fully support Oleksandra: the russian federation should be thrown out of the UN Security Council and all international organizations. We need justice, the aggressor must be punished, otherwise he will take up his twisted totalitarian ideas and plant them further», — stressed the leader of Golos.

As part of the KSF event, after Oleksandra Matviichuk's lecture, a discussion «Conversation About War, Victory and the Future» was also held.
